I've tried to select Units to patrol, but I have no clue where/how to set the "Rally Points" that it requires... anyone figure this one out???
I have even skimmed through the Steam Online Manuel and could not even locate where tehy say you can set your units on patrol... unless I'm missing something???
The patrol function is now available since the new Patch 1.8.
You can select any of your troups, by pressing the "Double Arrow" on the troup interface (Left middle Button) and send them to an other point, they will start patrolling
If you want only one soldier on patrol, the only one doesnt come back to the first point of patrol. 3 soldiers must be selected for making patrol working good. But sometimes, it doesnt work well even if you select 3 or more soldiers for patrol. They stay on the second point of patrol, walking on this point, and staying on this point, like "moonwalkers" dancers.
