Also always a good laugh, "deco" trees and grass can stand inside buildings, i had a stockpile full of trees and an armory filled with grass and bushes
But thats not really a bug, rather its just.. lack of polish

Bugs and glitches need to be fixed, yes, but what actually bugs me more than the bugs, is the actual layout of the game. No speed meter makes the game really uncomfortable for people that like to play fast, and the hovels made me waste a lot of the valuable wood, as they only give you a limited amount of peasants. Skirmish mode is needed, but what I don't understand is that skirmish mode was NOT included in the version of Stronghold 1 that I have, yet, that didn't make it a bad game. So don't think that is the focus with us. The game just feels really uncomfortable for many of us. It's like buying a really expensive shoe, and then getting home only to find out that it's really a size smaller that what it said, and soon breaks down after a few days use. Just scrap this game, probably get a ton of complaints, but get the true feedback of your community to make Stronghold 4, TRULY the best Stronghold ever produced.

Here Is what I like about the game:
- Rolling logs go a really long way, go really fast, and generally wreak havok. That is good.
- The visuals arent super great, but they look pretty good when I have everything cranked up as far as it goes.
- A stockpile that never seems to fill up, and only having to make one of them and being able to put it wherever I want to put it, is a nice change from Stronghold 2.
- I like the extra thinking needed when placing houses and statues in realation to the keep.
- I like the dynamic people and troops, especially the creativity of the motly armed peasants.
What I don't like about the game:
- Some of my woodcutters stop working seemingly at random. The game says they are going to a tree, but they just stand there forever, even though there are trees and they can get to them.
-What is the point of having walls and towers if the guys on the towers have the same range as those on the ground? And isnt the whole point of walls and towers suposed to be to protect the guys on them?
-I often have trouble selecting my troops if they are far away on my screen, though I can still see them. This makes the selection of large armies or scattered groups very difficult.
-I like the idea of thown spears, but it would be nice if I could tell them to wait for it to recharge rather then have them charge a swordsman with only a knife.....
- My engines on my engine towers won't do anything except die when the enemy gets close enough to hit them
- Why Isnt there an interior to the keep or towers? Now my guys have to sit on top and get shot at or go instantly straight down to the ground to get shot at. It would be make more sense, and be more realsitic, if there was an interior that the enemy has to get through beofre gaining the roof. Especially on the keep.
- My units seem to have certain areas of seemingly open ground blocked to them, making it difficult to move around the map at times.
- The seiges are pretty much impossable to beat on defend because the enemy has over twice as many guys as me and my tower engines are useless and my guys on the walls have no advantage over the guys on the gorund.
- I cant seem to locate the map editor....where is it?
- On multiplayer my username is the part of my email account that goes before the msn.com. That could lead to privacy issues if someone guesses the rest of it, which obviously woudlnt be very hard to do.... And, I cant find the option to change it.
- It is incredably difficult to get enough food because as my population grows i need more buildings, and then more food becaue I then have more people. With an estate as big as the map entirely devoted to food and church, I could not sustaion above half rations and 25 popularity. The food systym needs to be revised a bit. This also applies to candles and beer. The demand is too much higher than the supply.
-Guys in heavy armor in Stronghold 2 went faster than unarmored guys in stronghold 3. The only person who actually can run seems to be the King's sister.
Stronghold 3 is off to a rocky start. Luckily, FF has talented and dedicated people and im sure most of the issues with the game will be resolved in a few months.
Oh yeah there is also a cow in the middle of my granery...

I just want to say something here, because its a fairly popular topic.. Compared to Sots2, SH3 is less buggy.
Let that sink in, i made a list of 60 or so issues here, and SOTS2 has MUCH more serious issues, i am talking GUI trap dead-locks where a certain order of clicking in the gui DEADLOCKS the game, i am talking crashes for no reason, no autosave, and no option menu, no tooltips or help, no random maps, and terrible broken GUI all around.
So whatever i said in my posts so far, i take it back, Firefly did not release the most bugged game this year, that award goes to Kerberos. At least Firefly managed to release the right game version!

How does that even relate to the topic or even my off-topic post? ;p
Sure SH3 will be a good game, and so will be SOTS2 - but i am not buying "promises" i am buying games... and i want to play games i buy, not wait 2 months for them to mature...

this has probably been mentioned but 6 apple orchards 14-16ish peasants on normal rations peasants starve. guess i will wait for a patch to fix this. apple orchards take up too much land and do not produce enough food. you really get a 2-1 ratio 2 peasants can be supported by 1 orchard and one of the peasants has to work the orchard
