I may answer a couple of question

a) there is the manual on steam i think u meantioned there isn't but i can easily find it, maybe they added it recently
http://cdn.steampowered.com/Manuals/47400/SH3_EN.pdf?t=1319744837

b) the manual answer one of yuor concer "L" locate yuor Lord

now my problem

when i have 20 spearman and i select to attack 1 enemy they shoot all 20 to that single enemy.... and we all know how useless they became after they shoot their spear how can i make them fight without focus them all to 1 enemy?

i figure out that i just drag them somewhere and "hope" is close enough for them to engage but specially when u have 30/40/50 people in ur army some are so far from the action that tehy just do nothing...

we need some sort of visible grid on the ground it's impossible to place building like this it's so hard and time consuming specially for walls...

a button to close the door of the castle please as clicking is absolutly innacurate

As game development goes... they probably had to release no matter the state.

Thanks for the link Demon Turtle. I reposted it as it deserves a thread of it's own.

Re:Bugs, Issues and Glitches (Update) 1 Year, 7 Months ago
After my first hour of gameplay, I havn't encountered some of the problems mentioned on here yet but I have a few others that I don't think have been mentioned before.

The UI feels a bit too invasive of precious screen space. It takes up a lot of it.

The mini map doesn't indicate north, so when you swivel your camera around for the first time, you have no idea which way is north. I remember the advisor on the first mission saying the horses are to the north and it just left me wondering where I should go.

The zooming in and out and rotation controls could be better. I feel restricted to a view that doesn't quite work for me. For example. I usually play most RTS's zoomed far out but still have that perspective view. When I zoom far out here, I'm restricted to top down view.

Rotating the camera is really sensitive.

I'm not sure about anyone else but the food consumption in my cities seem to be way too much, It's normal rations but all I seem to be building is food buildings and they're still complaining about the granery being empty. I'm guessing when I need to start building military structures and fielding an army my city will be in chaos!

All in all I'm really glad there is a new Stronghold. I've waited so long for this. I think you should have released an open beta and polished the game more than you have done, before releasing it.

With that said. I don't like all the aggressive feedback some users give. Because I'm a modder myself for Oblivion. What makes me work for weeks and weeks on end just to give people I don't know something cool is the positive feedback. I love constructive criticism too. That's how we improve ourselves. But when all you get is bad mouths and abuse, It's really disheartening and makes you want to quit!

Like I said, I'm really glad there's another stronghold But lets not get aggressive to the devs, lets work with them so they can deliver a better game. And more importantly, give them the incentive to make another stronghold!

well thats the whole point in my opinion,
if the engine was broken, the game was lost.
but the engine is not broken, so in the end, all is fixable.
it just seeds some time.

maybe some publisher did not want them to delay it anymore, and insisted they had to publish it right now.

so let them do the patches and give them some time

i just hope they also use the list in the first post here, so it would be truly nice if just some dev would confirm it "yes we also try to fix the issues on this list"

(Text) Rain: "Rain is coming my liege" Is it really necesary to write rain twice?

Economic campaign (first mission) - why do I have market if I can't buy/sell any goods?

Oxens can walk through another oxes.Wtf?

A cow entered into my granary. It could be useful if you could put some sort of invisible barrier so animals can't just enter.

A sign on the map to show where wolves/bears attacks (like it was on Stronghold 1)

Destroying buildings gives back wood/stone.

Smaller/better looking User interface.

oh, and BETTER mini-map
