i want to ask on how to update my game to the last version v 1.10.27781???
plz can somebody explain for me how ???

Try verifying game cache.

To do this please right-click on the Stronghold 3 title on your steam library and select Properties.

Click on Local Files tab and select on the 'verify integrity of game cache' button. The latest patch should download immediately.

i searched on the hole folder of fireflywords/stronghold3/...
i didnt see any thing like that ??

You need to open Steam.

The library contains all your games you purchased through Steam - Here as an example image of it

but me i bought my game on DVD from a shop here...

i got the download last version from the net ..
it contains : reloaded.nfo , steam_api.dll , steam_rtd.ini and the luncher icon stronghold.exe...

SO CAN I INSTALL IT FROM THESE FILES ????

Stronghold 3 requires steam to run regardless if you bought it from a retail shop.

Do you have the autoupdate enabled?

To enable this feature please open your steam account.
Right click on the Stronghold 3 title on your steam library and select properties.
Select the Updates tab and click the 'always keep this game up to date' button.

If you can't find your steam shortcut on your desktop then please navigate through these folders

C: Program Files/Steam/Steam.exe

Double click on the application and wait for it to connect to your account.
Once it opens there will be the STORE, LIBRARY, NEWS, and COMMUNITY tabs.
Select the Library tab and find Stronghold 3.

Just to check are you running this on PC ?

i hv opened an account on steam and everything done well..
now i came to the library place i didnt see anything ...it is empty

when i download the patch of the new version i got this in the folder
