I have checked all my mouse and keyboard settings and they are all set as default, I have also checked that all my drivers are up to date and they are but the key mapping in the game is not the same as it is in the manual and i cannot find any settings to change them.

What I think you're missing is once you've selected the building you want, left click once on the map somewhere(with no ctrl held down) then hold down ctrl & use the mousewheel to rotate.

Hope this solves your problem :)

I have just tried this and it still doesnt work, want to find out why it does'nt work and how to fix it but every i have tried and been told to try doesnt work and its buggy me cuz you cant use the space very well.

But thanks for the help

Im with you varger. i use a uni-ball mouse, with no center scroll, so i have no way of rotating things.

I had the same problem. I ended up just replacing the wireless mouse I was using. You could unplug and replug it in your computer to try and fix this. Good luck

this happened to me to and i just got it like 4 hours ago and i figured it out. before you place the building you have to spin the **** out of the mouse wheel and it will start tuning a little at a time.

Thanks for all your guys help, since one of the new patches I've been able to rotate buildings but only with my keyboard, Im still unable to use my mouse and I even tryed using a wired mouse instead of a wireless and it still dosent work but at least I can now make better use of the space provided and I will now start playing the game again.

I think you miss one, you choose what you want construction, left click once somewhere on the map, then hold down the Ctrl key and use the mouse wheel rotation.

Ive tried that before and it didnt work, I found it instantly constructed the building so I could'nt rotate it. But since the update with the hotkeys for the rotation its been better, just wish there were more angles to place them at
