Where are the screenshots saved when I do "insert"?

I cannot find screenshots using F12 for Steam either.

Any suggestions?

is there any way of roatating buildings without a mouse?

@STR33TS If you weren't aware already you can rotate buildings using the keyboard now.

@We use F12 quite a bit. My shots are located here - C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\5626787\760\remote\47400\screenshots
Btw, insert has the same function as F12

How can i take screenshots? İnsert or F12 keys don't work. Or i cantn't find the file where they are filed!!!???

Do you have Steam running in the background ? When you press F12 in-game a window should appear in the top left corner of Stronghold 3. You can click on this and will be taken to the location of the screenshots.

Thanks for respond. anyway i would have another question; would you plan to make an expansion or some kind of gold edition of sh3 like the old crusader, sh fantasy or what ever. my wish list would be: crusader-medieval mod of sh3; fantasy mod with dragons, merlin, lancelot stuff; an italo-french mod in southern europe; or more accurateed new scenarios with new landscape like snow, snow on the castle would be nice. Sure all of these with the sh3 graphics. Do you think it's too early to ask?????

I am not able to take screenshots in SH3. although I can in SH2 using Alt+Q.

I did the following to try getting a screenshot from SH3.

I started Steam, selected Stronghold 3, right clicked, selected Properties, selected "Local Files", selected "Verify Integrity of Game Cache". Verified.

Checked Steam settings. Selected Steam, selected Settings, selected In-Game.

1. "Enable Steam Community In-Game" is checked.


2. "Press shortcut keys" in box is "Shift+Tab"


3. "Screenshot shortcut keys" in box is "F12" with a white circle with an X in it at the end of the box


4. "When a screenshot is taken"


5. "Display a notification" is checked.


6. "Play a sound" is checked

I restarted my computer, started Steam, selected Stronghold 3, clicked on Play.

Started WarMission 9 Forge. When game started, pressed F12 - nothing; no stutter; no change in screen, no sound, no notification I could see.

Pressed Insert - same thing - nothing.

Pressed Shift+Tab - nothing.

Pressed F12, Insert, Shift+Tab in different sequences and combinations - nothing.

Exited Stronghold 3.

In Steam window, selected View, selected Screenshots. In Screenshot Manager: Show "Last Session"; no screenshots.

I can't think of anything else. Tried two different keyboards - same results - nothing.
