There is nothing wrong with being a fanboy for a working game that is not the tatse of the other person but being a fanboy for a failed product as bad as this game is just one of the most lowest forms of intelligence on the planet.

Your not getting it are you,

You should not be defending garbage products yet you do!

How do you know your not gonna get spinned into thinking this game will be working as designed by xmas, only to get less and less. This is fact and if you have purchased enough games, you will know this is the most likely scenario to take place.

Yes I do think people are stupid when they are saying things such as :-

"there a small company"
"they were rushed by publishers"
"It a hard done life being a game programmer"
" I have faith that they will fix it"

For those of us whom have been around the block, we see this all the time and it just keeps the shoddy games churning out of the door because of the stupid feedback they get form the likes of the above.

Game consumers need to be a little less nice to actually be heard because it is clear that the above methods seriously failed us and just drove the quality further down.

STOP BEING SO APPOLOGETIC FOR POOR WORKMANSHIP

Yes they do and you were kind enough to point out to the world that you lacked the knowledge to meet a challenge to back your statements.

Doh, I get paid 48k for my current job and I like it. Like so many other people here, I have absolutely no interest in dropping a carear to go and make a game. I am 40 for christ sake so why would I do such a stupid thing when I get enough for what I do now and I enjoy it as it is.

This is not about me making a game, this is about garbage out of the door and I am making a point that people here are blindly defending such garbage.

Trying to turn this into a personal insult does not do anything except prove my points so thankyou

Re:Stronghold 3 – We are listening and we are working 1 Year, 7 Months ago
Well first off... many of us who defend this good product as good is due to we aren't having most of the problems and issues that others have been having.

I've only encountered 3 minor annoyances in several days of gaming including making my own maps.

minor issue #1 Imbalance in crop production to consumption.
minor issue #2 Three to five second lag on custom made maps when played
minor issue #3 Wolves and bears can climb ladders

I have not crashed once. Even after playing for nearly 7 hours straight. I have had no graphical issues. I have no installation issues. I have, in fact, not experienced any real problems other than a few minor ones listed above.

The only real problem I have right now is with Walmart and having been sold a sealed game box with the game inside having been opened and the only contents remaining was a disk and nothing to register it onto steam. Whoa... that means I'm still running an un-patched game as well without the issues! So looks like a good game to me. Sorry Gouldjg, nice try. Enjoy your 48k job. Start acting 40, and enjoy life instead of looking for fights and things to complain about. Life is a lot better when you do.

And one last thing, no one was telling you to quit your job... (using that as an excuse to a challenge is sad) the statement was if you feel it's easy making a game out the door in a short timeline with few resources given... design, test, and produce the game yourself. If you can't, don't fall back on the '48k a year' job excuse. Just say you lack the experience and knowledge to do such and call it good instead of being prideful and full of spite. No one actually cares about your job and the sad small amount you're making. If you're happy, great. Stay there and enjoy and do your job without complaining about others trying to do something you can't.

I've crashed a couple times, doesn't bother me none, game graphics don't bug me, gameplay is slow but I'm glad to be playing at all and with reassurance they are patching, case and point in the last couple days.

I'm enjoying the game despite its gamebreaking issues, or lack of content there of.

Lesson 1 on internet wars, don't defend yourself with facts about your life ie I make 48k so why would I wanna go make a game bla bla bla... Its pretty much saying "I lose". XD

What exactly are you trying to say within the words of so called wisdom?

1. you must be saying the game is acceptable for release?

2. You must be saying that only game programmers can have a say about what is good and what is not? and all others a not qualified to do so?

3. You are right, that I do not act my age, I am rather proud of that to be honest. Am 40 play games and am ****** proud of it. I wont be getting dementia when I am older thats for sure. But where am I acting like a kid?? The game is rubbish and there are not many people in the corner defending the game other than a couple of fanboys with stupid arguments. I am stating the obvious but you and others are letting them off the hook by defending them.

4. I will and still do use my current job as a defence against your rediculous argument because the so called challenge and your whole argument is just pathetic anyway!!!! Point is, I got a job and I will never make a game. Does not mean I have no say as to whether someone whom has made a game as done a good job or not. In this case, they have not.

Let me summarise this,

Game developers are pushing more and more rubbish out of the door without any good quality control and beta testing. Some are pushing beyond a joke e.g. Stonghold 3.

The above needs to stop and the only way to do it, is for the consumer to demand it so. The forums are a place where albeit it critical, feedback can be delivered back to the creator.

When trying to give the feedback, some muppets like yourself or other do gooder will just start spouting of a load of tripe e.g. why dont you make a game if you think it is that easy etc.

You guys kill me you really do. And I think you know you are doing it and probably sitting there wondering why you are defending this rubbish.

Its not me whom is pride struck mate, it you fanboys whom really need to get a grip.

Nah, not lost, your failing to read the context of my responce to a moronic statement and challenge. Go back, read slowly, sit there, let it sink into your head a bit and then try and come accross all smart and wise.

Look, I am outa here cos I am never gonna win an argument once the fanboys mount up an attack. They cant be blunt and to the point, they wanna come accross all wise and wonderful guru like.

Fact remains the same, the game is rubbish and you people do not help one iotola

All I can say about gouldjg is wow... Totally missing the boat on all levels.

if Revan, god emperor, XxH3llSoldierxX, or I sounded guru like and come across all wise.... that is just sad for him/her to have to admit that in such a way. And what does playing a game have to do with age?

And how are we in the wrong defending that we haven't had any real issues and feel the game is good, more difficult that the previous installments but good?

I just don't get how some people get so angry and have their panties in such a bunch over the fact that we haven't had any real problems and feel the game is good.
