"Stronghold 2 has stopped working" Please Help! 2 Years, 9 Months ago  
I recently installed stronghold 2 and when trying to start it i kept getting the message:
"Stronghold 2 has stopped working.
a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"
So i read some forums and from what i could gather the advice was to install patches v1.4. and v1.4.1, so i did and now the same message is being displayed.
All help is appreciated!

I forgot to mention i am using Vista and its Stronghold 2 deluxe

What is the error message? Is it ddraw.dll missing?

Please read Q&A and post your system specs. You must have patch v 1.4 installed first before patch v 1.4.1 just to remind you.Try a reboot as well.

I have read all the FAQ's and there is nothing that has/can help.
My laptops specs are:
Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Celeron M 1.73 GHz
764MB RAM
32 Bit OS
DirectX 10
Display Mode 1280 x 768 (32 bit) (1hz)
Total Available Graphics Memory 256mb

Unfortunately your laptop does not meet the minimum requirements for playing Stonghold 2. The reason is it use integrated graphics made by SiS. As you have a laptop it is unfortunately not possible to upgrade the graphics.

Sorry for the bad news.

I think I've got the same problem, I'm using that website you linked.

EDIT: It says "Congratulations, your system passes the Recommended requirements! You should have a great experience running this product.
"
