Ok when I go onto the online mode, there is a box that appears and says, "Online Support For Stronghold 2 is temporarily unavailable".

Its been doing this the whole time since I have been recently playing, Like 1 month, the online used to work like a couple months or even a year ago when I used to play, now I decided to go back to this game but cant play online, even LAN which is what I am trying to go on. (Cause I want to play with my brother on the computer next to me!)

Also, I have read on Google searches about online not working, and all they say is to reboot the computer, (which doesn't work since it hasn't been for a month), taking off the firewall (which I actually did, went on control panel, firewall, specifically took off firewall on Stronghold 2), they also say that the server is temporarily down (what temporarily for a couple months?), and they say to check internet connection (which seems perfectly fine to me, internet works and every other game I have on the PC work fine online).

Everything else works on Stronghold 2 works fine except multiplayer, so help would be much appreciated.

I went on control panel, windows firewall and I took off the firewall of Stronghold 2 but it still doesnt work

Not the firewall of sh2 the firewall of your windows or try closing your antivir.

This problem does appear to be related to the Firewall blocking access to the game in multiplayer.

For the past 2 years ive used Bit-Defender antivirus and firewall and had many problems with online play. Especially when someone dies the game freezes along various other probs.
I uninstalled Bit defender and installed microsoft security essentials and pc tools firewall.
It seems to have solved 75% of my problems

I replied in your other posts, if you have a hardware firewall try opening the ports on the firewall to see if it helps.
