Stronghold 2 Expertgameplay Part 5 4 Years, 1 Month ago
Doing my normal 30 PT start can get you a fast estate. The 3 estate start is also partically the same. It is quite simple after you know the granary trick.

This "granary trick" refered to as "playing with the granary" is when you have all 5 types of food and press "g" and quickly raise rations to double and then after you get the +6 honor, you quickly raise rations to none again. This allows you to get 6 honor with minimum food loss. You will still lose food so I reccommend doing what I do in my 30 PT start.

Here is a brief follow up:
Place your stockpile.
Place your granary.
Place market.
Sell 25 apples, all stone.
Buy 5 5 5 of other three items in granary, because you still have 5 apples left after selling 5 from the 30 apples at start (standard for 150g).
Then begin to play with your rations, leave on double first as soon as you buy 5 5 5 5 and then after you get first 6 honor began counting.
You should go to practice in a game with fake name to get timing right just for you.
Then make 3 apple farms, 3 hunter posts.
Make 2 hovels near wood cutting area, and make all the wood cutters you can by buying all the wood you can with the remaining gold.
Then delete both hovels and place 2 more woodcutters, and when you get about 18 wood make 3 more hovels near camp area.
Now sell wood to make kitchen, do a 7 pig feast after you get food. Keep playing with your granary, and your feast needs to start at 32 honor if you don't miss any honor. If you miss any honor at all that puts you 1 month behind your oppoenent.
Now after you start feast continue to get 56, then you should get 38 honor from your feast givining you a total of 94. Now your last 6 honor is about to come out of granary.
Skroll up to the estate and begin clicking on the flag as fast as you can to capture the estate.
Tips: This isn't exact steps for everyone, you should find whats best for you, but getting the idea starts from here. I recommend placing the granary first that seems to help you even more in getting the estate first.

I feel that the serious gamers(Pro's)like the whole arena style map. No thought process about game just see how fast you can make gold. No tactics or at most limited.
I like playing on Natural terrain maps, Thats why I make them limited build area and many estates in the country side. I find this by far the funnest way to waste away 3-4 hrs.

Thats just my opinion though
