fix suggestion Stronghold 2 3 Years, 8 Months ago  
At the start of the game there's too quick of a demand for food and the rats and crime controversy require too many Gongs/ falcon post and guard post.
Other things:mass production of one food type,ex.bread,maybe a way of fixing "mass production" problem:more demand for honor from multiple food types and swap the value of bread with the value of multiple food types.
Next problem: Portable Shield,making troops almost invincible,maybe a way of fixing "Portable Shield" problem:making formation pattern different than other troops.
Next problem:bedchamber/honor cheat.maybe a way of fixing "honor cheat" :By having a fixed build or no build radius around the castle.
Next problem:Massive amount of engineers/cheat,maybe a way of fixing "engineers amount":make engineers temporary workers with banishment instead of decommission.

Those things your refered arent bugs.
Gong and rats are part of Medieval life... so no need to change that and they are to easily removed from your castle.
The rest is part of the game strategy and they arent cheats so you just have to be a good strategy mind and know how to use them

It would seem that 99% of time somone replies it's from missing the point.The suggestion isn't to remove Gongs and rats from game.The suggestion:it's tedious not strategy.

Perhaps you don't Know those cheats:"honor cheat":BUG/trick that confines the maiden, "mass bread production": not realistic and too repetitive,"Portable Shield"if fixed possibility would equal more of a competitive desire and more usage of different troop type combinations by means of forced defense(maybe one set scattered formation for portable shields would reflect a more realistic battle),Gongs/ falcon & guard posts placement:too repetitive (maybe if they increased the radius of effectiveness or influence it would be fixed),"engineers amount":too repetitive and could cause a pointless battle by usage of armed-peasants(could be better).

I do know those "cheats"

But tedius as you said it was a way of living in the medieval ages.
Stronghold a loyal medieval age RTS so thats why the game is so true on these aspects.

Maybe if they incorporate the suggested in SH2 it would add more to gameplay and leave room for adding content.Same for the Well usage too repetitive and they take up too much room.

Another fix suggestion,trebuchets placement within castle walls.maybe a way of fixing "trebuchets placement":deny long-range weaponry placement (radius) within castle walls.

I thought of one fix, correct me if im wrong but in stronghold 2 you cant build the production buildings as lean-to buildings up against walls anymore, you were able to do it in all the previous games.

They should remove crime.
Takes to much build space, for just that one.
Gong, and rat's aren't that hard.

Thinking about how much fun Stronghold 2 was.I mostly played on LAN fun times.I have about 300 post about Stronghold 3 on here and never played it.
