Stronghold in window mode 1 Year, 11 Months ago  
Is there a way to get Stronghold to play in a window? I want to livestream playing the game but I need to size it to fit in the area allowed by procaster. I'm a livestreamer at coesquest livestream channel and some viewers havn't seen (but would like to) the game before.

With Windows emulator its kind possible to achieve windowed mode? as in one stream saw that.

I have never been able to get SH to run in windowed mode. If someone finds a way to do so i'd very much like to hear how

Try to download any emulator to run windows games, they should allow that way to play it like in windowed mode.

I'm not sure it works for SH1, but I use the code " -windowed" for all my games nowadays.

That code has to be added to your desktop shortcut (with a space before -windowed)

So for Win7 it'd be something like : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Firefly Studios\Stronghold\Stronghold.exe" -windowed

or you can use " -window"

I have tried this and can confirm it works in both single and multiplayer.

Now you have the ability to multitask while playing stronghold.
