I'm fairly new to Stronghold, so my question may seem a bit dumb, but I've been working on creating a map within the game and I don't see how to add people once the map has been made. I go into playing it, but the Lord is the only one showing up. Also, there are no options to add housing, buildings, castle buildings, etc. while playing. I've looked at the help file/game manual, but there's nothing in there that I can find. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

I looked at your reference, however, I never made an army for the map, figuring I'd make the army as I played it. Although, I did make an enemy army to play against at a future date, to give my guy a chance to build one when playing. In fact, there was no option to make up an army while defending. I did however make 2 huts to generate people from, but when I open the map to play, no options for any kind of building is allowed, and the campfire where people congregate has a black circle when hovering over it; not green or even red.

Another thing is, when making the map, its giving me the option to name it, however, when going to save it, it is saving over another file, so I have to bring it up under the other map name, and then it shows the map I made. This seems strange to me. Maybe I'm just missing the area where I'm supposed to set it up?
