If you say that Brian Fargo not connected with Firefly then that means you are saying that Brian Fargo commissioned you to make Stronghold, for he most certainly did have the rights to publish Stronghold since he created it, following a suggestion by myself (See the 'Absolutely Delighted' thread). If you were unaware of this, then I suggest you contact someone higher up the chain of command who will be able to fill you in on the facts.

Nor do most countries.. This is where the beauty of the exchange rate comes in my friend. Just like with any other MMO, there might be gamecards, online payment options (bank transfer, iDeal for us Dutchies), etc. Don't worry about that.

It would be nice of game to be free with microtransactions like others game of this genre. But as i think and others here a big step forward would be the microtransactions options should not intend in the game progress at all. Why it mean is to give players and options to improve functionality of game's user UI but not giving in game profits like increasing incomes or else. If you decide to implement such a things let it be at least one realm/server with this options disabled to make equal chances for everyone. And if you talking about players who only play to "mess up things" - they will always be there whether you like it or not, but to get rid of them is to contact with futher game masters to report bad behaviur, insuilts. We dont want to make game population suffer thanks to this warmongers...

Hmm, I definitely disagree with the fact that micro-transaction are a better way for Firefly to generate revenues than through subscription costs. I don't like these transactions at all, personally, and would much rather pay a justified monthly fee. (That is, at a price-level that can be justified)

No microtransactions please. A monthly fee or equivalent is what it should be.

i hate microtransaction but i dont know how they would get a trial out for this game. im sorry but i think it will have to be micrortansactions. mabye different servers for both(subscription servers and microsevers
