I'd guess not. Every MMO has to be paid for somehow on a monthly basis for server rental!

I wish it will be free, I hate montly paiment. They just have to ask more to buy the game, but sincerly, it've been 8 years that I've played Stronghold, didn't miss one, but if it's montly paiment... Still not sure of what I'm going to do, probably going to try the trial and take my decision then...

Thee will be a monthly payment so deal with it guys. How do you think they will pay for ongoing sever cost and updates that come along with a MMo type game. They are making games to make money not to provide free services that have a ongoing cost.
I myself am looking forward to this game and will gladly pay a monthly fee.

Ya I agree with Glavatron, assuming they do right with this game. I'll be more then glad to pay a monthly fee.
I could personally care less about graphics assuming the game play is good.

I hope they charge a monthly fee actually. This has the benefit that people who aren't all that interested in the game and just come to mess things up won't be able to do so without paying. So it serves as a kind of filter in that aspect.
Next to that, hosting a quality service costs money and in order for Firefly to be able to offer us what is expected they will need a steady income. In the end, the more money they make the more benefits we reap as the game will keep being improved then.

Oh. I think that free2pay is bad payment model, i wanna to see pay2play because we will have better kind of players than with a free2play model.

I prefer to pay subscription and be sure that every player is equal in possibilities.
Microtransactions make some players have advantages (unfair, i think).
