If you could try to delete \Documents\Stronghold 3\Profiles\options.xml and run Stronghold 3 again.

If you still see the "Failed to initialise" message when trying to run Stronghold 3. Please can you email us the dxdiag file, containing your machine specifications.

You can get this file by doing the following:

1. Click on Start.
2. Click Run
3. Type Dxdiag.
4. Click on 'Save All Information'.
5. And Save the DxDiag.txt file somewhere you can locate it.
