Have you checked for an updated ATI driver and I've heard of this problem quite often with dual graphics configs, often it's a driver issue either on one card or the other. Usually it's the Intel side which tends to be junk in my opinion mostly because Intel tends to forget to support and update after they make their money.

Drivers are fine!! I played so many other games on this laptop.. around 40-50 i guess... all worked perfectly!! Except for Stronghold 3! Almost all gamers with dual VGAs have this problem.. Firefly have to fix this!

Perhaps if you posted the question into tech support area the programers may be able to find it instead of shouting in the General forums where it's the sales and public relations people who don't know how to answer the question...

In addition, at this time they would likely be at home as it is past business hours where firefly is located so you'll likely get a response in around 24-48 hours... minus weekends.

You may wish to double check your video drivers in the mean time and see if there are newer ones available that may improve your computer's performance and possibly fix the issue.

This game is probably lost already, mainly because of just the initial reception. It may be pessimistic for me to say this, but I would honestly be happier if you scrapped this memory from your minds, Firefly, and immediately start asking your community for ideas on the next Stronghold. It could be released in a year if you really tried hard, and I hope this serves as a second precedent for what the community wants. The public has stated every single problem, and I think you can see what the people want by opening up that old Stronghold in your desktops, and really seeing the components that made us smile back in '01. Thanks for the apparent effort you are taking to feed a very selfish society that we live in, remember, it's life.

Im looking to get this game despite the terrible reviews, all i would like to know for now is what all of the issues are with the game and what ones have been fixed, as well as if this will run decently on my new toshiba all in one on its Intel HD graphics.

I dont care if you are listening and working.

You should have worked when creating the game and you should have listened.

You obviously failed to do either so why NOW rely on the sympaphy card of your fan base.

It is the most pathetic released product to date, that I have ever had the misfortune of purchasing.

I was not part of the previous games and am not some loyal fan. I am just a casual gamer whom accepts most games so long as I can get a least 3 days fun and entertainement out of them.

This game was shut off after 30 mins for be so boring, slow and limited game I have come accross.

How on earth would you let your game designer get away with it?

The management should sack the dev team IMHO. You dont deserve jobs period.

Do the right thing and pull the plug on this piece of garbage.

You know... it is really sad and pathetic with how many people say this same line without really thinking of what they are saying...

First off, if the plug is pulled on Stronghold what other castle sim is available to step up to the plate?

Second off, there was a reason I stepped out of programing. It wasn't because I couldn't and it wasn't because I wasn't good. In fact I had MANY offers for work in this field with the level of work I could do. The reason I stepped out was because of the difficulty and the time involved with making programs and games. Having someone over you telling you WHEN you had to have the program/game done and often it was an unreasonable time the gave you. You do the best you can, spend more time then you actually get paid for... then the people who receive the program/game have no gratitude for the work that was done in the time that was given (usually not enough time) and telling you to dump the program.

Well guess what, if you stop whining like a child and be a touch patient like an adult and wait for the to complete what they started, it will be a stunning program. The only crime that was done was the programers were not given the resources and time (mostly time) to do the work they were trying to perform.

This is no different than Stronghold 1 where it came out with serious issues and didn't even have half the features working right. After about a month of people nicely telling them bugs and suggestions, the updates and patches will improve Stronghold 3 to the level it should have been on release but they didn't have time due to the publisher (not the programers) telling them to ship.

If anyone is to blame, point your fingers at the publisher that gave them a date they had to ship out. This isn't Firefly's fault. They are working HARD to fix the issues and add the missing features.

Look your just coming accross like some blind fanboy and it is the sad appologist like yourself that are really crumbling this industry nowadays not the publishers.

If players just stated, no this is rubbish and we wont buy again then they will start to sort the flipping industry out.

The problem is that for every complaint, there is some pathetic little fanboy whom states the same garbage you have just spouted because they are hoping that their own little fantasy ideal game will come to them.

These companies are all well and aware that the publisher is gonna ask for a launch date and expect a product on that date. Thats the name of the business you idiot or did you not know that.

The skill is how they use this information into their planning and design. When they get it right something half decent comes out of the door and when they get it wrong, it turns out like this.

It is the Devs fault for turning out garbage not the publishers and it is fanboys like you that let them get away with it cos you fight their battles.

There is nothing wrong with being a fanboy for a working game that is not the tatse of the other person but being a fanboy for a failed product as bad as this game is just one of the most lowest forms of intelligence on the planet.

p.s. oh and the , " we have done programming and know what it is like rubbish" save it. Everyone is pressured in work one way or the other so stop being such mards and stay out of the industry if you cant hack it.
