Well if you look the way SH legends was done it was like an expansion to SH 2, only new looking buildings and troops and new features. And crusader was the same, an expansion to SH1. Not an expansion that you can play it only if u have the previous game, but you can play it separated. You get the idea ?

i like play stronghold 2,but sh3 have amazing map editor tricks , just my pc cant run it

Well, we'll have to wait one more day to see if they've learned from their past mistakes. If they haven't learned by SH3, then they never will.

sh3 was good just was released total to early. but i can't say until i din't play it

Confused... You say you did not play SH3 but yet you can say that it was good?

I did play it, I can say that it was Not horrible, but it was taken too far back in their reboot scheme and was missing some features, that many many players were expecting and so it made many players very angry at what we got, missing features and a ton of bugs that they have tried to sort out since release, but some missing features (cough, skirmish, cough) will not be fixed since they had no intention of adding it to begin with.

i was play one missiom at friend, and i saw much gameplay video, the game looks fine but not fun but i saw amazing map editors tricks, i would play it only for editor. My dream game should be stronghold 2+sh3 map editor.

Yeah, I remember the SH2 map editor. It allowed you to hit back button without prompting you to save your map. Hence, hours of your work could be lost due to a thoughtless click. Same went for skirmish or story mode, you could loose your progress if by accident you clicked on the main menu button.... not impressive at all.

I am so excited for this game! Stronghold Crusader 1 was my absolute fave. All the horror stories about terrible bugs kept me from buying Stronghold 3. I have all the others, though.

how are people happy with this considering they released a very very buggy SH3 and then stopped supporting it even though it was still buggy.

I wil wait 6 months after its released to see if its any better then SH3, would be nice with that announcement they said they were going to be atleast be releasing one more major patch with SH3
