If anyone is experiencing any unusual issues not being reported by anyone else please use the following instructions to verify your Steam game cache.
Example problems:
Not being able to place buildings
or
The text in game being displayed in Debug Text
or
Speech is missing
1. Run Steam.
2. Go to the Library section, right-clicking on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache button.
Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
Once the process is complete, the Check Window will automatically exit.
Once this has been done any missing files should be downloaded, allowing you to play Stronghold 3 normally.

The Mission in the military campaign, "The Sultan" I got to the last part of capturing the outpost but couldnt' since the archers on top couldn't be targeted or reached. Ended up slowly losing 10+ troops to 2 archers because they were impossible to kill. Either give me unlimited troops of fix this ridiculous bug.

LAG!! 7 Months, 3 Weeks ago

Okay so I bought this game, brand new, the other day and I played it after hours and hours of installing the game. I was, and am, very disappointed in how much lag there is. It's unplayable. I put it on low graphics, made it play in the small resolution, and even played it in a window. NONE of that fixed the problem whatsoever. If you could PLEASE get back to me asap, that would be great. Thanks!
