hey people,
this is my first time on these forums... I have a quick question.
I have the unpatched version of Stronghold 3, im not really into campaigns I just like the free build. But i was wondering if you can be attacked in freebuild. Im on day 230+ and still havent been attacked... is there anyway to make troops start attacking?

Yes on freebuild you can be attacked but you have to launch these attacks manually when you feel your ready.
On the top where the menu button is you'll find two circles underneath. One is to control daylight and weather settings and the other is to control attacks (Red circle with yellow stripe) Click on it and there are a variety of attacks. Peasants, plague bringers, and kingsmen, oh my!
If I'm not mistaken you can also add yourself some gold and honor with this tab too.

Hey thanks for getting back to me... On the top where the menu is I have the day and night controls but there is no red circle with yellow stripe - it may be because my game isnt updated, Steam never works for me on all my games... but I did think that in the unpatched version you still would be able to be attacked.

You're missing many features and updates playing an unpatched version. You mention Steam doesn't work properly for you ?
