I've just bought stronghold 3 for my computer and when I installed it,I open the game and it asked me to fill out a form for playing stronghold online.I filled it up and then i click submit.when i entered main menu, I clicked multi player button and it was in browse game button. there was not any games and servers .and when I tried to host a game but i cant. Can someone help??

Multiplayer is basically nonexistent even if you do get on FWIW. Devs have acknowledged significant performance issues in MP (along with a myriad of smaller quirky bugs), but have ceased support/patching of the game. Community has also abandoned the game for the most part as well (at least the MP part).

As there is no AI based skirmish mode, the only real facet of the game is single player modes like the campaign. If you are fine with those, play on.

If you considered multiplayer to be the main point of buying, you might want to consider returning while you still can.

You can go 15-20 minutes in the lobby waiting for a single game, and it will only get worse as time goes on.

Just something to think about.

Game will only show up here once someone is hosting a game. Can You please describe why you cannot host a game? Is your version of Stronghold 3 up to date?(1.1027781)

sorry for late)
my version is 1.0.24037 and what do you mean by system spec?if you mean drives,my drives space is 512G and I installed stronghold 3 in F drive and it takes 4G of 129 G.

oh nooo!my version is not up to date!is this why I cant play multiplayer?? and how to update? plz reply soon..

farzan1377 can you try verifying game cache?

To do this right click on Stronghold 3 in your steam library.
Click on properties then head over to the Local Files tab and click on Verify integrity of game cache.

It should download the latest patch momentarily
