I love the SH series, but Legends is way too hard. Even picking easy. I realize you need to utilize the specials, merlin, etc but man this is nuts. I quit playing it. I will load up SH2 to see if its better. if you get to pick easy, the game should be easy, not make you quit it.

Maybe a stupid question, but did you play the tutorial?

Shl is easy to learn yet hard to master. If you do the campaign the biggest chalange is having a good eco. If you can keep a good eco the army part will follow. if you do online multiplayer there is a diff set of rules but i figure you didn't go that far yet.

Sh2 has a dozen more things you need to do with eco as well as a more complicated honour system.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did the tutorial and I've played Stronghold and Stronghold Crusader. Right now I'm on the victory chapter of the campaign. Its tough because you really dont get any time to build up your eco before you start getting attacked, 1 army after another. I restarted too many times to count trying out different strategies but in the end they all fail, lol.

Oww that one, if you found that one annoying, trust me that you don't wanna do the final mission of the road to hell. I don't know the mission out of my head but if i remembered correctly it is the map with some outlaws around the field, with a big circle of troop kind things with vlad in the centre and after some time they keep invading you.

Think the basic idea that i did was a hell lot of wood to start with, and make a stone wall around your eco asap. After that the best thing to do is making xbows. tons and tons of xbows (this goes for any game b.t.w.) they are really overpowered in shl.

That or i believe someone made a video walktrough of the shl missions on youtube.

Just remember, even though it is on easy, it is the final mission.

Wouldn't be fun if it would have no chalange at all would it? (like the ai players in multiplay...yuk!)
