online membership 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
When starting Stronghold 3 it asks you to sign up for the online membership so you can see where your castle is online and interact with others. But after filling out all the info and hitting submit it just stays there saying connecting to fireflyworlds.com and doesnt ever connect or do anything after that. I can hit Skip and continue but the online membership isnt completed.Is there anyway to fix this or whats going on?

The online feature is not required to play stronghold 3. You can just hit skip and it shouldn't automatically tell you to do so. If you ever change your mind you can manually enable this feature in the extras tab by clicking Profile.

The same thing is happening to me, you fill out the form and then it says connecting to fireflyworlds.com and does nothing.

We know there's a skip button but is there a reason, technical or otherwise that it's not working?

I for one would like to use the online feature.

Please check your firewall settings to see if there's anything that might be blocking your connection with steam and Stronghold 3.exe.

Try temporarily disabling your Antivirus and restart Stronghold 3.

That didn't work either.

All firewall and antivirus disabled and it still hangs on connecting to fireflyworlds.com

Also if you hit skip while it's on this stage, and go into extras to enable it again, it's still trying to connect.

There will be no patch. This is just a online issue that is blocking users to access their Stronghold 3 profile.
