[A possible spoiler for players with not completed Stronghold 3 Campaign] -------- First of all, I was sort of surprised by the ending cinematic in military campaign, how The Wolf captured the main character (and presumably killed him seeing as he said it earlier he is going to do so). It itself just suggests that Duc Volpe may be our 'playable main character' in the next Stronghold, wouldn't that be sort of 'innovation' for Stronghold series? Playing as the 'main antagonist' changes the campaign perspective completely... But that's just my way of thinking - do you guys think Firefly will let us play as Wolf in next Stronghold?

TL;DR - Duc Volpe (The Wolf) as a playable main character in the next Stronghold, well - at least there's a possibility .

I have a feeling the next stronghold shall return to the Crusader times! They never rule it out in interviews! Would make sense as it was probably the most popular Stronghold title yet.

Well, actually Wolf seems like a 'good' evil character, wouldn't it be just nice to play the whole campaign from his perspective after taking care of the SH3 main character? The whole revenge act against the country could turn out into a nice "Kingmaker" type campaign, where he makes "this land suffer"... Because why not to be unique and make a villain the main character ?

It would be good if they make the next stronghold as the Wolf's perspective but explaining why he became a antagonist. Like a "He's not bad, he's just misunderstood" kinda thing.

I'm sure should that be the case it will be news at a later date. It would be a good idea to post suggestions/ideas what you'd like to see. Me personally I do want to see the ability to play vrs the AI much like in SHL.

I'm not much of a Crusader myself (I enjoy the European theater much more), but if you guys ever are making another Stronghold, notify me at once by email. The reason you have gotten so many requests from me is because I did not know you were making SH3 until after it came out. Joe.

i also never really been into SHC, but always loved the gamplay in the Legends series.(more soldiers, more more more!!!)

but for a SH4 it would be nice to have another solid SH game with alot of realism in it. would really be nice i think

Well I tried SHL and its cool because it has same SH2 gameplay but i'm just not into dragons and fairies and such. Reminds me ov some Harry Potter movie lol.

Crusader is the bomb in my personal opinion. My favorite is SH1 but crusader brings me good memories.
