I just gave up on the game as a total waste and just decided not to buy any products from these people in the future.

That is unfortunate. I find the single player campaigns lacking some polish in different features. but they are playable. I have finished all 5 economic missions and am on military mission 12. I can't speak for multi-player since I don't play it. I'm currently on the last patch as of Jan 6. With the next patch, it should be even better.

Single player, Economy mode, Mission 7 - Renegades, difficulty mode - NORMAL. I ****, out of time . Same mission on easy mode, played 3 times - out of time, out of luck . Started to wonder with my friend what the heck is going on, do I **** so much I can't even win a single map? He accidentaly took a closer look at the Granary, as we had constant problems with bread which you have to collect in order to win this mission and guess what? My ppl stuck inside of it. Millers couldn't leave their flour, what's more they got stuck even at the mills trying to get up the ladders, so NO bread for me! Dunno if it's just one map glitch or overall bug, cause I haven't noticed that earlier.
Different thing is the Mood system. In my opinion is much too variable. I can understand penalty from the fire raging in my city, while I just don't get why the one for the Rain/Storm is as same as the first? C'mon, those are Middle Ages, so they'll live even if they get their heads wet xD. What's more about the fire is it lowers the mood even several seconds after the flames are gone and that's just not fair
You really would give an option to move the Stockpile as the Granary is movable cause its quite difficult to imagine at the start how my city will look in future, as the map doesn't give me much choice to place buildings when Im just forced to search the right spot among these ubiquitous TREES DDD. By the way, maps are too small for buildings/buildings are too great for maps, choose the one you like most.
I played lot of SH1, even more SH2 especially in multi and during the play this one most of the time I felt like I was in some kind of vicious circle where you can't get what you want cause it's always not enough

I can't delete Stockpile where millers get stuck -_-. I just played one more time mission I spoke before and I've lost again cause of lack of bread . I had like 4 farms, 5 mills and 7 bakeries, I turned off its consumption and I got like 12 pcs in more than 5 minutes Only thing that helps is turning off/on the mill but as this is a time mission every time I do that is like putting a knife in my back with my own hand

EDIT: No help is needed anymore . With lot of clicks I managed to win with faulty mills and stockpile, passed 7th mission and the last one also. In addition, I've noticed that guys producing armor are too lazy means they often go to stockpile for iron two or more times before they produce any plate
I will tell you one thing - this game is late BETA, nothing more and you just can't name it "final" release though, me and my friend, we had quite a lot of fun thinking how to beat those bugs and to be honest it was much more fun since the economy in this game is just a WORD

P.S. And to be fair I really don't get why ppl keep complaining about the graphics side. It looks really nice, maybe not stunning, but c'mon guys, this is a strategy not some FPS, u wont see beard on a king's face
Work it out, Firefly guys, cause it's a little shame that there are so many glitches in such good title

I have found a some bugs, i don't know if it's just my computer but i'm still going to list them.
- when you hover over your build menu, the price of building don't show up or the amount of resource you have
- sometimes building placement doesn't work you have to double click to place

Suggestion:
- the ability to "speed buy" troops by pressing fast on the archer icon, or something like that, you could do it in the original stronghold
- in mission "rearguard" everything comes at once, bears, fires and attacks, i don't know if other missions are like this, but it would be nice to see a fix where unpleasant events do not happen all at once

I also noticed that in mission 7, my catapaults where getting attacked by archers even when they where supposed to be out of range of the archers

I still pop in here from time to time, to check on what's going on with SH3. I've pretty much given up on it, and don't ever expect to get my money's worth out of it. FF has made it clear that skirmish and the accompanying AI aren't on the table, so I don't really see any amount of patching bringing this game to a place where I would feel justified in reinstalling it.

I want it on record that my roommate and I are sitting down for another game of crusadertonight, a decade-old game that remains the high point of the series.

You guys know it's skirmish we want, so either stop shoving "we never said it would have it" down our throats or just start working on SHC2.

I agree. That is the best "cure" for solving the problem.

Stronghold Crusader was the best.It was long to play and fun, especally with the add-on of 30 maps. But also think that SH 3 is on a good way to make something excellent. It has brought tons of new things ingame. Some are good, some are less good.

GOOD
-Reactions(good or bad) of people depending on the weather and other things(plage, royal visit and so on).

-No negative popuarity when having low taxes(taxes were a normal part of medieval castle life,so for the lowest tax stage in my mind there should be no negative popularity.)

-Look of peasants. They are excellent and they look far better then the ones mad in previous stronghold games.I like how they have different weapons that are actually tools, not only pitchforks like.I also like how you mixed men and women, that is very realistic and fun to look at.

-Variaty of bastions.Nice

-Variaty of towers.

-Wooden tower-at last.Thanks!

-New looks of the macemen, eventhough the old ones were great to.

-Voice acting of units.

-Variaty of diseases that struck food types or better to say farms.Very realistic and excellent.

-Reactions of people when you click on them and they speak like in the previous series.

-Pig meat is food for the peasant folk and food that comes from hunting posts(deer meat for example)is for the king.

-New look of iron ore mine.

-Cows transport iron(it was new from stronghold 2,but still nice)
-How enemies fall when they are killed.Realistic.

-Wood intusty.Three workers in one place, nice.

-When diseases struck the pitch workers.

-Farms look in general.

-Good and bad things with their effects brought back.Nice one.

-Those little sharpen stakes that represent stacke traps.Basic of defences for every medieval castle.

-Noise that troops or people leave when walking on the ground.

-Nice medieval music as always.Big thanks!

-Dovecote,Soothsayer's Tent andother happyness buildings.

-Variaty of house look depending on the distance.Very realistic and nice.

-Variaty of honor gained depending on the distance of statuse. Also realistic-Many people would see it if its is somewhere near the keep then if it was rather somewhere in the woods or far away fro the keep.

-Building rotation.

-Different keeps.

-No more need to build dungeons and facconer's posts. It just used space.

-Bee hives now part of the candeler's workshop.Nice.

COULD BE BETTER OR SUGGESTIONS

-Wooden walls. The look of the wooden walls isn't very medieval from my aspect. It looks like those backstreet walls in games like GTA series...The ones that look like wooden spikes from SH 1 were more suitable for the game.

-Men at arms.Ok,so you switched them for spearmen, right ?.Just I don't get is why do they throw a spear and go fight with a little knife ?,you could give them a sword at least, because it is unlogical. The second thing that bothers me with them is that they have almost the same range as archers.I mean I have placed an archer up on the big round tower and he just cames under the tower and hits my archer that hight with a spear. That is very unrealsitic. The other suggestion that I heard before is that you leave them as spearmen(so the spear throwing option is disable) from stronghold 2,without the ability to throw a spear, but give them bonus when fighting against cavalry.

-The new look of swordsmen is excellent but in future you can make them combined as peasants-for example some have a shield, others don't and for those that have a shield they could have your crest on them like in previous strongholds.

-Maybe some blood could be added,at least till the unit dissapears like in SH1,SHC.

-Wheat farms look. Not the farms but the wheat itself. It looks like a giant bush or maybe a pampas grass. The one from SH1,SHC was far more realistic. The other thing about wheat farms is that the farmer that is diging the ground doesn't leave a trail on the ground when diging.

-About farms in general or some other buildings-When you have a bush on the ground or some longer type of grass and you build a farm or some other building over it the bush or the grass stays. For example-when I make a wheat farm the bush lays right over the wheat.Isn't it logical that if you build a farm somewhere that you will first clear up the ground ?

-Braziers cost-Why ?.They are just made of metal with fire in them...Maybe you can place that for one brazier you need to have 5 wood(the wood that burns inside) and 2-3 iron(the “bucket“ in whitch the fire lays)

-No moats, why ?...And if they were able to be build like in SH2,why do the cost gold ?-no logics. The only requiered menpower to be dug up likeyou made them in SH1,SHC.

-Stone walls are brakeable by units. You need to disable this like you didin SH2.It is very unrealistic. For wooden walls I have nothing against.

-Laddermen and siege towers.Where are they?.You put them away but they were one of the main siege weapons in medieval ages.

-Stairs.Why can we not simply build them like in SH1,SHC?,or put a staircase like in SH2.

-Let arrows bounce off the walls like in SH1,SHC.

-Only one type of religious buildings. These is not that bad in general, but sometimes we do not have the space to build that large churchy,so it would be nice if you could bring back those from SH1,SHC,but you can make that they have lower income to happyness.

-units on higher ground like hills, walls should have noticeable range.

-“Now all we need is some kind of skirmish“...I agree on this.Stronghold isn't stronghold without skirmish battles. You should never let this out in future sequels.

-Why can't troops run ?

-Could you make somebody visit the market we make like it was most noticeable in SHC ?

-Dead space for almost all buildings(Keep, houses, backeries, etc.) is too large,so if you can shorten it to the very edges like you did for example for the violete garde.

-Maybe you can make the jester come and play when the lord has the great feast.

-Make the feasts visiable like you did in SH2-it was very entertainin.

-Where is our banner and crest ?.You could make an option for us to choose it,like in SHC.

-You should make us an option to choose which colors we can be.I have played stronghold when I very little and from the I was always red.Except for SH 1 where I was blue...If you have chosen the colors for the AI's in the game you make like in SH1(Wolf.-Black,Snake-Yellow,Pig-Red and Rat-orange),the disable us those colors but make us able to have other colors, like green for example.

-You should add women AI's like Lady Seren in SH2.

-You can make a special granary for the lord's food.

-You can make different lord have different weapons like in SH2.

Sorry to bother you with the long text.It is very nice of you to try and fix the game.
