In case you missed it on the Firefly Facebook and Twitter we were at Rezzed this weekend! Producer Paul and PR Nick headed down to the new PC and Indie games show on Thursday to demo Kingdoms to the unsuspecting public. They did so with our pals at GetGames, Eurogamer and Rock, Paper, Shotgun, our gracious hosts for the event. |
Rezzed is the newest games exhibition to open in the UK, with the bigger and better Eurogamer Expo and GAME’s now defunct GAMEfest having paved the way in recent years. Rezzed took place on the sunny Brighton seafront on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th July, with a PC/Indie theme that featured everything from the smallest indie titles with the most promise to guaranteed blockbuster hits. Standouts from the show included Aliens: Colonial Marines, Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, WarMage Battlegrounds and surprise “Game of the Show” Hotline Miami! There were also a number of developer sessions hosted by the biggest names in PC gaming. Almost everyone seemed to be there, from a newly-inspired Peter Molyneux to overnight indie superstars Matt and Dean “Rocket” Hall, of Day Z fame.
We had a great time at the show, which was Firefly’s very first! Paul and Nick enjoyed meeting fans and giving away free stuff, which you can see us doing in the pictures below.
Till next year!
