The game was made to further promote the now released and updated Stronghold. The main changes to the game were that the player now had 5 walls with archers rather than the original 3, and the sheer number of enemies was boosted up making the game far more challenging. While the player now had 6 "troops" at their disposable, only 4 engineers could be used at any one time. Other notable changes were the addition of falling snow.
